This skirt is made from top of the line, Grade A premium Mongolian Alxa Cashmere in the mountains of the remote region of Alxa. Find out more about Cashmere varieties and grades.

Cashmere price is determined by weight of the wool. It takes more Alxa goats to produce a sweater. They have long stringy hair and only the soft hair in its belly is hand combed to make the cashmere wool. This skirt is more  expensive than regular cashmere because it's Alxa Cashmere and it's more expensive than an Alxa cashmere sweater, because it's a MAXI skirt which is long and requires even more cashmere wool to produce.
